Mission 2: China |
In Mission 2 you'll meet
some new enemies: Chinese warriors. They attack just like the
Americans from Mission 1, but they slide on the ground after doing a
jump kick (see above). Make sure to get out of their way when
they run at you because that sliding attack has a long reach.
China is a simple level
and completely linear. Some of the Chinese carry sais. They
work just like bottles, so make sure to pick them up for extra help.
When you become surrounded on both sides, make sure to use the cyclone
kick (this can't be done while holding a weapon).
You don't have to bother
working your way to the right unless you want to. The enemies will
come to you. After they stop attacking, run all the way to the right
and enter the cabin.
Once inside the cabin,
you'll notice there's only one exit, and that's where the enemies come
in. You have two choices from here: guard the door and knock out
enemies as they come in, or run around the hut fighting scattered
enemies. With two players, have one person guard the door and the other take
out the scraps.
Watch out for Daby and her
knives. The closer you are to her, the less likely she is to throw
them. Remember, she has an unlimited supply of these things and
you can't use them. If
she throws a few knives, move up or down and then
close the gap.
After defeating enough
enemies, Chin will enter and join the fun. He's slower than you, but
also stronger. Pull out your nunchucks immediately and keep your distance.
Don't bother swinging at
Chin if he's running at you. Get him to walk up to you, then smack
him. Five hits from your nunchucks won't actually kill Chin.
You'll have to finish him off with cyclone kicks or have the second
player use his nunchucks as well (if you have a second player).
