Double Dragon III NES moves

 

   Billy Lee & Jimmy Lee  

Run To run tap left or right twice on the control pad.  You can move up or down while running by moving the control pad.
Punch To punch press A.  A weak attack.
Side Kick To kick press B.  A good attack.
Hair Grab When an opponent's head drops while punching or kicking, press the control pad toward him to grab his head.  If you hold the hair grab for too long without attacking, the enemy can escape.
Overhead Elbow Smash While in the hair grab, press A to drop your elbow on the opponent's head.  Good damage.
Face Kneelift While in the hair grab press B to knee smash to the face.  Good damage.
Flying Jump Kick While pressing the control pad left or right, press A and B at the same time to jump.  While in the air, press B to jump kick.  Good damage.
Mid-Air Somer-Assault While pressing the control pad left or right, press A and B at the same time to jump.  While jumping over an enemy, press A.  The flip can be done to avoid jump kicks.  Weak damage.
Cyclone Spin Kick While stationary, press A and B simultaneously to jump, then press B in the air to kick.  Good damage.
Jump Kick Throw While running toward your partner, execute a jump kick and you will be thrown back in the opposite direction.  This move can also be done off of walls.  Good damage.
Double Cyclone Kick Have both Billy and Jimmy stand on the same spot.  Both players must perform the cyclone kick at the same time.  Excellent damage.
Nunchucks Both Billy and Jimmy have a set of nunchucks to use as special weapons.  Press select to access the character screen, highlight Billy or Jimmy, press A, then move the cursor to Nunchucks.  Each brother can use his nunchucks to hit people five times per mission.  Excellent damage. 

 

  Chin Seimei
Run To run, double tap the control pad left or right.  Chin runs extremely slow, slower than any enemy in the game.
Upper Punch Press A to perform Chin's palm strike.  Excellent damage.
High Kick Press B to perform Chins high kick.  Good damage.
Jump Kick While holding the control pad left or right, press A and B simultaneously to jump, then press B to kick.  Good damage.
Diving Head Butt While holding the control pad left or right, press A and B simultaneously to jump, then press A to perform a flying head butt.  Weak damage.
Leaping Double Kick While stationary, press A and B simultaneously to jump, then press B in the air to kick.  Good damage, but the move only attacks enemies on your front side.
Iron Claw Press select to access the character screen.  Highlight Chin, then press A and move the arrow to Iron Claw.  Chin can hit an enemy up to five times per mission.  Excellent damage.

 

  Yagyu Ranzou
Run Double tap the control pad left or right to run.  Ranzou runs the fastest in the game, which is as fast as Ninjas.
Sword Attack Press A to perform a sword slice.  Ranzou performs no punches in the game because he always carries a sword, which means he cannot pick up any weapons.  Good damage.
Round House Jump Kick Press B to make Ranzou leap into the air and kick.  One hit will knock an enemy down.  Weak damage.
Lunging Knee Drop While moving left or right, press A and B to jump, then press B.  Can be done off walls without running.   Good damage.
Flying Sword Attack While moving left or right press A and B to jump, then press A to perform a flying sword attack.  Good damage.
Tumble High-Jump Kick While stationary, press A and B to jump, then press B again.  Good damage.  This move only attacks only on your front side.  Good damage.
Shuriken Press select to access the character screen.  Highlight Ranzou, then press A and move the cursor to Shuriken.  Ranzou can throw 20 stars per mission.  Weak damage.
