Double Dragon III NES Guide

Mission 5: Egypt

You've made it to Egypt, the final Mission in the game.  If you're not familiar with the continue code, go familiarize yourself right now.  Wait right where you started so that the enemies to come to you.  Attempt to time your cyclone kick or similar jump attack with Chin/Ranzou so that you knock the two Gibsons over the edge.  If not, just stand in your spot and continuously do your cyclone kick/jump attack until they die.
Now that the pesky Gibsons are dead, do your carefully timed jumps.  Be sure to use Ranzou or the Lee brothers, NOT Chin.  He is the least agile and you're most likely to fall to your death when using him.  Do not run while jumping as you're more likely to mess up.  If two players are playing, let one go first and then follow so you don't lose track of your character and mess up your timing.
Continue to the right and drop down to the bottom step.  You may now fall to the ground without killing yourself.
Once you reach the ground you will be immediately welcomed to a thorough beating by Gibsons and Robinsons.  They use an annoying leap frog tactic where they jump kick continuously over each other.  Avoid this maneuver and unleash a cyclone kick or similar attack to get them off you.  Use Chin's punches, or the Double Cyclone Kick to take out enemies.
After handing out large cans of Whoop-ass, continue right and enter the stone door.
Once you enter the door, you will notice a spiked pit with two openings that you can fall through.  Do not fall through them.  Wait in your spot on the left as gladiators come to you, then unleash cyclone kicks.  Continue the same attacks with the next set of gladiators.
After you finish the gladiators off, the screen will automatically scroll to the right, so be careful.  Continue right and wait for the platform to appear.  Jump onto the platform.
You can hold the control pad to the right without walking off the platform, so go ahead and do that.  As soon as you can, jump onto the ledge to the right or you will hit the roof and die.  Walk all the way to the right because a Robinson will appear and you don't want to be knocked over the edge to your left.  Pummel him anyway you wish so you can move on to the next room.
You will be attacked on both sides in this room, so the obvious choice here is to use the Lee brothers.  Try to time your cyclone kicks so that you hit both enemies simultaneously.  Watch out for those throwing spears.
Occasionally, a Gibson will drop a knife.  Feel free to use it.
After clearing out the room, Hiruko will put the stones in place and open the door to...
More enemies!  By now, Billy and Chin are probably low on energy, so most likely Ranzou will need to step in.  Start slicing like a sushi chef until the ninjas are dead.
After Hiruko puts the fourth stone in place, you will enter the tomb where you will face not one, but three separate mummies.  Do not use your weapons since the mummies aren't the final boss here.  Select any character and use his jump attacks to take out each mummy.  Keep moving to avoid being hit.  Don't use ground attacks.  Turbo pads really help at this point.
After you defeat the mummies, Princess Noiram will arrive.  First, select a Lee brother and the nuchucks.  Get close to Noiram without walking into her fireballs and smack her until the nunchucks are used up.  When she turns into a snake and disappears beneath the floor, walk up or down to avoid being hit as she pops back up.  Try not to stay on the same horizontal line as Noiram or she may throw you into the wall.  Just like with the other bosses, approach her at an angle.  Now, select Chin and his Iron Claw and continue to pummel her.  After the Iron Claw is used up, continue to use Chin's punches since they are the strongest empty-handed attacks available.  After a ridiculous amount of hits, you just might win.
