Double Dragon NES Guide

Final Area

The final stage poses almost no obstacles, except for the fact that you can fall off the bottom; and if you do that now, well, you deserve it.  Wills are the first enemies to attack you, and you don't want to lose any energy.  You can knock them on the ground and use sitting punches.
Once you're in the main area, two Abobos will come out first.  Greet them with backwards elbows and jump kicks when they get too close.  Remember to always jump kick toward them.
Two Chins will make their way out next, and one will have a knife.  Jump kick the Chin holding the knife and use it against either Chin.  Then finish them off with kicks and sitting punches.
Now you'll get some breathing room.  Two Lindas will come out.  A single hit will knock them down, so kick them and follow up by fighting dirty - using sitting punches.
Two Wropers will come out next.  The same rule applies: one hit will knock them down.  You know what to do.
Finally, Big Boss Willy appears after sending plenty of his cronies to wear you down.  This version of Willy is perhaps the most difficult in any port of DD, so listen well.  The first thing you need to remember is that you should always keep off his line of fire - always stay above or below him to avoid his shots.  Don't stand in front of him.
The way to beat Willy is with well-placed kicks.  Don't bother with anything else.  As you approach Willy from above or below, kick as fast as you can.  When your kicks start to land, space yourself so that you are kicking him with the end of your foot, not the inside of it.  Kicking close to an enemy causes Billy to do the jump spinning kick, and you don't want to do this on Willy.  He will likely duck under it and retaliate with gun fire.  Kick from a distance and Billy will instead go for the hair grab - a much better move to use on a trigger-happy, machine-gun-wielding maniac.  If you get him in a hair grab, land several knee smashes before throwing him, then quickly do the sitting face punches.  Don't worry if he keeps throwing you off when you straddle him.  It doesn't hurt you and you'll know that you need to wear him down more.  Repeat until he's done for.
Just when you thought it was over, your brother comes to crash the party.  If you have at least one life left, you will be just fine.  Jimmy has the same moves as you, so you can mix it up however you like.  I don't need to tell you much more than to unload on this treacherous relative!

Oh, but don't kill him.  Apparently you're going to need him in the sequel or something.
