Double Dragon II box differences?
Hey Steve, can you or anyone else tell me why there are two variations for the box for Double Dragon II on the Amiga?

The second one is the budget release. Back then in the UK, most publishers would re-release games at a much cheaper price usually a couple of years after the initial release.

Ah, thank you. I don't really know much about these gaming computers because they never took off over here. The NES pretty much prevented that.

Re: Double Dragon II box differences?
I updated a bunch of the box scans for the computer versions of DD 1, 2 and 3. I'm still missing some versions from specific regions. If anyone can find any scans that we're missing (without watermarks), let me know.

One day, I promise ONE DAY, I will get round to explaining and providing you with all the differences and whatnot (some of the screenshots are wrong also). What Swainy said is correct though.

There is no Linda on that box cover. I think better is NES version

The NES version is definitely better.

I never realised how crappy that artwork is actually. That goes for most Westernised artwork from the time period mind. They thought we weren't ready for Japanese style art (how idiotic does that sound today?). Still, not half as bad as the DD3 cover.

Hey Steve, you said some of the screenshots are wrong. Which ones were you referring to?

Linda makes any version of Double Dragon better, which is why I never liked Super Double Dragon. Sure, the gameplay was good, but would it have killed them to add some female enemies?
