Wow. Just ... Wow.
If you don't mind a little constructive criticism, Marian doesn't look quite right. Is her sprite from another system's port? At any rate, since you're going with NES sprites, I'd recommend her set from either NES DD 1 or 2.
Other than that, like I said, WOW!

please it's ok, I like criticism as it makes me improve the game, also it shows interest 
yes that Marian is from the master system version, actually I don't like the nes sprite, I did a little retouch.
on the attached file, to the right you can see the 2 Marian sprites for the master system (yes, they used 2 different Marians!).
Just gnore the colours, it's easy to change her from blond to brown
the Marian on the screenshot is not the definitive either, will try until got the right one

Yeah, this second one is much better. It just fits in, with the look of the other on-screen sprites.
I'm assuming from the sprites on the left, that it's a custom job, of her MS appearance, in NES-style?

I agree- this looks fantastic. The Marion swap blends in perfectly wtih the rest of the sprites.
