awesome!. i was waiting for this from years. and even with one 3d mode, and 3d intro and ending... is so cool!!.
anyway, this not was the first remake maked of the first cooperative beat em game with 2 simultaneous players...
theres other very good remake named "target 2006" from the ys3 website.
http://www.target2008.com/target-2006/(theres downloads for the 3 versions. i prefer 1.2 vers cause 1.3 was a little fail during the ending escene).
and one "aparently" abandoned new version named 2008:
http://www.target2008.com/however, theres are some differences beetwhen this 2 remakes. cause in this new remake, when you move to one direction you cannot turn directly to the other direction.
but like i play the original zx spectrum game in my childhood... i dont remenber now if that detail also happens on the original game.
anyway, i prefer can turn directly like on target 2006. but is not too hard mastered the game with this thing.
the really hard thing, is beat the game on the hardest difficulty... really, i cant!. someone has do it?

one suggestion: someone has visit "streets of rage online" or "sorrforumotion"?
because in the new streets of rage 2/3 hacks is now possible create your OWN CHARATER! for play with they. and all thanks to one new tool named "pancake", that let you make incredible things. like put on streets of rage 2 or streets of rage 3 else character that you want.
like the punisher, robocop, rd209 robot, batman... else thing that you imagine is now possible...
so, thanks to this, you can create one hack where you play sor2 or sor3 with billy, jimmy, or why not, abobo, and even create your own sprites for they. or also add to they new moves that you imagine!.
