Actually, the creator, Mr. Q, says it's based on SDD. I imagine the dojo area shown is merely a testing area of some sort.

Hi There.

I'm glad to know you already know about this homebrew game. Check these songs, they'll probably be included in the game:

You like those songs? My 15 years old brother did those, I'll ask him to remix more if possible :p Leave some comments in those Youtube videos! Help me convincing him! XD

Thanks!

You should be working on an official game, not those idiots that actually are...

Thanks a lot :)

I haven't had much time to work showing some updates, mostly 'cause RL / editing sprites & music, but I'll leave this here.

These move sets are absolutely gorgeous! They are way too good for a Bor mod.

I very seriously lament that this game is just going to be confined by the limitations of bor. As most of all know, bor is cookie cutter in terms of it's game play, with sadly little that can be altered in terms of real game play design. There are of course certain Bor modders that definitely make the most of the systems limitations. With out a doubt, Mr. Q is in a league all his own with this.

These movesets are nothing less than inspiring! They deserve a proper Technos/Double Dragon base gameplay template rather than the FF/SoR template that BOR unfortunately confines itself to. I would love to see this game complete with this, as well as dynamic "platformer-esque" stages, much like NES DD2.

There are obviously some really talented individuals that occasionally show themselves on this otherwise sadly quiet forum. I just wish that all of this talent could somehow come together with someone who can write original programming code to make a proper fan made DD.

Anyway, Mr.Q. My hats off to you, Sir. The time, effort, and love that has obviously gone into this is simply stunning!

1st of all, thanks for your words!

Rest assured that this game already counts with:

    Punch button
    Kick button
    Jump button
    Block button
    2 Styles switch button
    True DD mechanics
    New enemies
    Complete SNES design
    True SNES music remixes

...And it's still OpenBOR :)

I would love to contact Muneki Ebinuma to show my work, and demand a true DD game, not like that iphone thing.
