Bad Dudes 2 looking for sprite artists

So it's just been announced that Bad Dudes 2 has lost its main pixel artist today( http://knucklebomb.wordpress.com/2012/10/09/next-step/ )
as I've been recently following the development of it. Essentially a small start up indie game house called Pinstripe Games gained the IP and publishing
rights for Bad Dudes, which was snagged from G Mobile when they bought the entire Data East catalog a few years ago. Pretty much it's the ultimate
idea that I'm surprised not too many have thought of: fan gamers actually gaining the rights to make an official sequel or remake
I actually was a huge fan of Bad Dudes, despite it's rather short, lack of replayableness. It was just so wholly...well, late 80's. When I recently got wind
of this, I immediately was flooded with ideas that would work for a proposed sequel(2d SNES/1993 era arcade graphics, the kind of facelift
Ninja Warriors got or something along those lines)
I can't seem to get a hold of the guys behind this, but it'd definitely be a dream to be somehow involved in this and I figured there were
at least a couple on here who know old school sprites pretty well
