The Target Renegade graphics are simly coloured in versions of the Spectrum version. Double Dragon though is my own work. The trouble is, I have to rely on programmers as I can't actually code.
Very cool! By the way, to you or anyone on here: What are the best DD fan games out there? I've seen so many on youtube, it's hard to tell which are quality. Though I like how virtually all of them feature
the Double Dragon 2(and sometimes 1) sprites. I even saw one that seemed to have the DD3 arcade backgrounds replaced with DD2 era sprites.
For the heck of it I played both the Renegade arcade and NES version the other night. I had forgotten how hard(yet in some ways quick and easy) Renegade is. The whole 1 life in the arcade version with no continues is bizarre. I like how the NES tried to make it a bit longer, and more interesting. That's cool you're doing that T:R fan project. I have always wondered what that game would have looked like with better graphics. I've come to consider both T:R *and* Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunnio-kun(as well as Shin Nekketsu) true sequels to Renegade. (Tho I definitely refuse to even acknowledge the existence of that ghastly looking "Renegade III"
