Re: Double Dragon shrines at Arcade Quartermaster website!

Haha, very cool. Is this a 90's site? Or a newer site made to look like those freebie portal geocities type of 90's fan sites? Either way I dig it. Also cool he found the names to all the Bad Dudes and Strider characters(Im a huge fan of both) Wish he had an entry for Narc, Ninja Warriors and Eswat ...

Re: Double Dragon 2 Remake?

Why is it most the reviews for Double Dragon Advance, Contra 4, all of the 90's and 2000's 16-bit styled Castlevania sequels, etc are overhwhelmingly positive? Yet look at reviews for Final Fight the fighting game(1999), Final Fight Streetwise, Double Dragon Neon, Double Dragon 2 remake, NARC remake...

Re: Double Dragon Cameos in- Wreck-It Ralph?

Sadly the cameos felt pretty sparse, but I did happen to catch an Altered Beast cameo. Not sure why Altered Beast, but hey I'll take it.
I felt a lot of opportunity was wasted, but there was some moments of the film I liked.

Re: Who Here Remembers the 1988 Arcade Game "Rad Punx"?

This game looks so cool its not even funny... Thanks! I have a lot of fun doing parody spoofs of late 80s and early 90s games. So far they're just goofy little animations but I would love to learn coding so I can make some of these games. Side scrolling brawlers, oddball fighting games, platformers...

Re: Who Here Remembers the 1988 Arcade Game "Rad Punx"?

Just found the youtube video. Looks interesting- did this actually exist in 1988? Yes, it really did exist! It was a rare exclusive port on the Atari Amstrad upgrade for the Bulgarian version of the Famicom. Every once in a blue moon, floppies of this will show up on ebay, pullling in sick, SICK pr...

Who Here Remembers the 1988 Arcade Game "Rad Punx"?

Was working on some concept art to submit to the Bad Dudes 2 crew, but ended up making a whole spoof of the original Bad Dudes

Re: Double Dragon Neon

If way forward had used the contra 4 style or something similar, I woulda creamed my pants.

And while this doesnt look as attrocious as the 3d DD2 remake, ive no interest in this. Just looks ugly to me.
Ive pretty much ever given up hope on a real DD sequel, and a kick ass sprite based one at that.

I did not know that! And I'm guessing you're referring to the Bad Dudes vs Double Dragon ad in magazines from 1989?

Bad Dudes 2 looking for sprite artists

So it's just been announced that Bad Dudes 2 has lost its main pixel artist today( m ) as I've been recently following the development of it. Essentially a small start up indie game house called Pinstripe Games gained the IP and publishing rights for Bad Dudes, which was snagged from G Mobile when t...
