New Dreamcast shoot em ups... looking very good...

I dunno how many of you are shrump (shooter) fans but if you are and you still have Sega's last console, you might want to take a look at these buties. First of all is First Striker, a standard but nice looking vertical shooter. check it out here - m Apparently it was the most advanced New Geo game ...

Re: Brizo Interactive goes bust!

Ho ho. Acclaim Entertainment haven't existed for years!

Best I could come up with at the time sadly. Had I had more time I'd have to knocked some crazy artwork of Double Dragon VI or something.

Brizo Interactive goes bust!

I've just received news from an extremely reliable source that Brizo Interactive has filed for bankruptcy. All assets have gone to Acclaim Entertainment with immediate effect. What does this mean for the future of Double Dragon?! Double Dragon Vs. Legends of Wresting... A new digitized one on one be...

Man, your sketches are absolutely awesome and you should be helping to make a new DD game now! I don't think I've seen a more accurate sketch that brings all that was good about the original design. The non-pupil eyes and stuff really make it. Heck, if Capcom see those, you'll have a job in no time.

Re: Double Dragon Forever is over (bad news)

Vigilante is one of those odd "follow ups" rather than a strict sequel as it only shares similarities with Kung Fu Master in the sense of the game type. Obviously the storylines are completely different and share no relation (other than being about a fighter who is on a mission to rescue a...

Re: Retro Games You'd Like To See Sequeled/Remade/Remixed

I'm surprised there's not a new Ghosts and Goblins game since Capcom has been remaking/sequeling things. Well, Ultimate G n' G is getting on a bit now and sadly only on the PSP, but it is worth picking up. It's just a bit too different for my liking and far too hard (and this is coming from someone...

Re: Retro Games You'd Like To See Sequeled/Remade/Remixed

I think I've mentioned some before. Smash TV absolutely gets the nod and there is absolutely nothing like that out there right now and would definitely fit in with the current batch of online downloads (i.e. many crazy shoot em ups). Rampage in a sandbox design? You mean like isometric 3D? If that w...

Re: Double Dragon Zeebo!

You know, I think you may be right. Something did strike me as odd about FF2, and I remember not feeling as thrilled as I thought I'd be while playing through it. Subsequently I've only played it a few times. It's clearly made with the SNES tech in mind. They only had 8 meg to play with in regards ...

Re: Double Dragon Zeebo!

Yeah, like when Final Fight One came out, I was hoping for DD2 Advance. Sadly no FFTwo or Three either. But I have hopes for DDiphone. I question how good FF2 actually is. I think it needs reworking somewhat (not enough enemies on screen and it's a little dull for me). FF3 was much better. Out of i...
