Re: Double Dragon Zeebo!
Yes I know there is already a topic for this, but I figured I would make a brand new one so that I can tell people that I've actually got my hands on a zeebo and this game! I had to go through quite a bit to get my hands on it (using brazillian version of Ebay and having more then a few conversatio...

Re: Double Dragon Forever is over (bad news)
I thought Million was the ultimate copyrighter holder now for Double Dragon? It's now this "Brizo Interactive"? You know, I had a thought. What would it take for any one of the emerging indie developers/indie garage/shovelware/app companies to work with Brizo to develop a "Double Drag...

Re: Sequels To Renegade..or River City Ransom?
Favorite DD fan game, gotta be Double Dragon Forever: m http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v661/Swainy_boy/ddfnew.png As for Renegade being tough, hell yeah. However the ZX Spectrum was too easy, checkout my playthrough: m Wow, DDForever looks great...gives me the kind of thrill seeing as when I fir...

Re: Sequels To Renegade..or River City Ransom?
For the heck of it I played both the Renegade arcade and NES version the other night. I had forgotten how hard(yet in some ways quick and easy) Renegade is. The whole 1 life in the arcade version with no continues is bizarre. I like how the NES tried to make it a bit longer, and more interesting. T...

Re: Sequels To Renegade..or River City Ransom?
Yep all fan work. I reckon that if I had been about 5 years older, then I might have stood a chance doing some professional graphics for the Spectrum. The Target Renegade graphics are simly coloured in versions of the Spectrum version. Double Dragon though is my own work. The trouble is, I have to ...

Re: Sequels To Renegade..or River City Ransom?
Wait, you worked on ZXS game design? Very cool! I didn't even know there had been two spectrum versions, usually I just see retro coverage of the other one. What other systems did you design for? Looking at screenshots for the DOS and Amstrad DD, there's this almost acid flash nausea look to them, w...

Re: Was the 2008 DD2 Remake Ever Released?
I've never heard of that before. Thanks for posting it. It doesn't look 16-bit to me though. That link you gave had images that looked identical to the NES game, like a straight-up port rather than a remake. I just meant shots like this look kind of SNES-y http://www.projectnext.eu/mobile-game/Doub...

Re: Sequels To Renegade..or River City Ransom?
Er, where to begin... Cassette based games lasted so long because they were just cheaper than the alternatives. Plus it helped costs given that there were some many formats back then. Target; Renegade is official in the sense of Ocean had the rights to make their own sequel. I'm guessing Taito of A...

Was the 2008 DD2 Remake Ever Released?
I was blown away when I saw this: m Basically it appears to be a 16-bit looking remake of the NES DD2. I love the arcade version(tho dont care for the pc-duo remake), yet always also loved the very nice looking and epic NES DD2. So alas, I was quite taken to see a company had made a 16-bit facelift ...

Re: Double Dragon for Zeebo (new game released in Brazil)
seeing as ur new, i wouldn't bump into old topics like this since it opens up dead discussions, just a regular rule for forums Well I for one just found out about this, and it's interesting to see that Million produced a new game. I notice, like DDA and DDEx(mobile phone), there's this stylish new ...
