I should point out that when I seen the screens I expected the worst. The game moves far better that I expected and the remixes sound pretty good.

I'm in two minds now. I thought it was kinda ugly at first but it looks much better than most 3D beat em ups in action (better than that lucha thing). And the special moves look quite interesting.

This is very odd news indeed. Out of all the DD games to remake on put on XBox Live, they choose DDII the arcade game? A game made on Nintendo hardware has never been seen on the live networks, bar the Wii of course, so I doubt it's a NES remake. A PCE remake would be incredible but even more doubtf...

I managed to get a copy of this. It is very good indeed and clearly the engine is far superior to Beats of Rage. I believe somebody did a FPS mod featuring the X Men years ago (can't remember what game it was for. Hexen or something). It ended up being licensed by Marvel.

So yeah, anything is possible. I hope Sega do something with this despite not being a big SoR fan either (I like their other stuff though!).
