Re: Article for the 10th Year Anniversary of the Dojo!

Great stuff. I'll edit it altogether and it should be finished in the next few days. Cheers, all. aw darn, just missed it by a day, heh. If you're quick enough, I'll include further responses. It is already edited and reads very well (Swainy has had a sneak preview and seemed to enjoy it). But feel...

Re: Double Dragon is covered in the next Retro Gamer...

Sorry the last feature hasn't been scanned in yet. Swainy asked the editor if we could use it, along with additional material not in the mag, but we're still waiting on it...

Stay tuned.

Re: Nostalga with video games

I agree that Brawl Brothers, as its known in the US, or Rushin' Beat Ran, in Japan, is easily the best of the series. The Japanese version is superior mind, as with all of those Jaleco games. They especially screwed up the third game for no good reason (graphics, music, the works).

Re: Double Dragon Forever is over (bad news)

In a crazy way, maybe this Brizo would be easier to work with than a monolithic juggernaut like Capcom or Sega? There MUST be some people who work at serious indie developers with publishing clout that are DD fans, and could propose something. Imagine how fun it'd be to work on the first new DD seq...

Re: Double Dragon Forever is over (bad news)

The Mercs remake / sequel was in fact Commando 3, the third in that series of course and did indeed come out a year or two ago. I have the game on my XBox and it was okay. It never quite went all the way with the craziness on screen. Stick to the original games, they're classics. I think the 1942 up...

Re: Best DD Remixes You've Heard?

The Megabosses were one of the first rock bands to get recognition for doing video game tunes. They do the main DD theme quite well.

Re: Double Dragon II: Wanderer of the Dragons Cyclone Xbox36

I should point out that when I seen the screens I expected the worst. The game moves far better that I expected and the remixes sound pretty good.

Hey, just trying to be a little positive here. :?

Re: Double Dragon II: Wanderer of the Dragons Cyclone Xbox36

There's quite a few games that need reviewing actually and some on the site that need updating. Sadly, most of them are too depressing and this new game looks like it may end up the same! I will absolutely check it out when it is released however. Don't worry about that. I dunno how you could get ho...

Re: Double Dragon II: Wanderer of the Dragons Cyclone Xbox36

Currently the site needs these new games (by new I mean during the last ten years... ouch!) plus the Spectrum and Amiga DD3 (standard ports), all the Atari ST games (almost identical to the Amiga versions), the awful Amstrad ports (DD1 and the Spanish DD2) and the OFFICIAL MSX game (crummy Spectrum ...
