Yes, agreed. If the Developers keep the format in 2D, preserve the basic original mechanics, spend time studying what not to do (Double Dragon II remake), and listen to what the fans actually want, we could actually get a decent next-gen Double Dragon game.

It also has some interesting text grabs. They even translate the japanese text- apparently the Japanese DD3 had a very different story that the US/International versions...

Agreed- it is extremely impressive so far...

I always liked how they did the helicopter level in the PCE DDII- where it was more of a scrolling level rather than a single screen. Anything that's NOT the XBLA DDII Helicopter Level would be great though.
