And guess who made the cover?!

No sign of Jimmy but a brief mention of Abobo's Big Adventure inside! Plus, the original DD made the top gaming moments list (the whole player 1 Vs player 2 at the end deal!).

Re: Double Dragon II box differences?
I never realised how crappy that artwork is actually. That goes for most Westernised artwork from the time period mind. They thought we weren't ready for Japanese style art (how idiotic does that sound today?). Still, not half as bad as the DD3 cover.

Just the ratio and stuff (on I believe mostly the Spectrum stuff). Geez, I need to sort that out some day...

Re: Commodore 64 Ocean port
I still don't get why that was even made or even quite how Ocean had the rights. Only thing I can think of was that Ocean were planning one of their famed compilation sets including DD (or for the C64 console as you've just rightly pointed out to me via PM ) and since the original C64 port was so bl...

Sprites are ridiculously big for the screen but yeah, looks mildly interesting. Cheers!

That music is still sensationally impressive! As somebody says, you can see and hear easy comparisons to the Game Boy. I actually like that scrolling style too meaning that the game will never get jerky (the original port was of course, jerk city). But the most impressive thing is how smooth and pro...

Re: Fatal Fight iPhone
I've got an iPhone recently and wondered about this but doesn't it defeat the point? Plus, the on screen controls take up half of your viewing area! The idea of putting your iPhone on a TV is pretty cool but I dunno, man... Seems a bit of a waste of time to me.
Still, great video!

Re: Double Dragon Neon
I get why the space thing would annoy Swainy because it bothers me too. As does a few other things and I can explain why. One of the main reasons of Double Dragon's appeal was it could have happened in the real world. You controlled an actual human being, fighting seemingly real people (okay, Abobo ...

Re: The biggest question: Why Was DD1 NES Only One Player?
Hey, folks! Glad to be back after a long holiday from this place! It's not so much system limitations, it's sometimes down to programming problems, deadlines and other, sometimes even bizarre issues. Being from the UK and seeing just about every console and computer under the sun and about a billion...

I can't even bring myself to play the trial of this. Looks absolutely terrible. A complete waste of time and after the pretty good Neon game too.
