Double Dragon V's release date

I did some digging and found out that Double Dragon V wasn't released for the Atari Jaguar on August 5, 1994 like all of the official advertisements claimed. GameFaqs and some other websites had this version listed as being released on April 1, 1995, but that didn't make any sense to me since the ad...

Re: Mark III version of Double Dragon

Thanks for posting that. Hey, did you catch that crazy crap we posted about the Genesis game's storyline?

[Edit]: By the way, do you have a better scan of the Famicom box for Double Dragon 1? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

Re: Fatal Fight iPhone

The sprites are too big for my liking. But I agree, I'm not playing an old school game like that with a virtual D-pad or virtual joystick. These companies should take note: I'm not buying these games on a cell phone. Release them on something with an actual control pad/control stick.

Commodore 64 Ocean port

Is it true that only 20 copies or so were made? That's what is being claimed on this website:

Here's the link where that statement is made:

Re: Double Dragon Neon

It sure is weird how Double Dragon is getting all these remakes recently. Personally, I want a new game more in the style of Double Dragon Advance or Super Double Dragon. Like a new story or a just some new ideas/levels like Double Dragon III did (I really do love the country-themed levels for the S...

Re: Double Dragon Neon

No it wouldn't be the same because undoubtedly all of these official DD games coming out have obtained proper licensing from Million. Fan games don't do this. Also, this isn't exactly unusual. Double Dragon was licensed out to all sorts of developers/publishers in the '80s/'90s. We're just experienc...

Re: Double Dragon Neon

I don't have a PS3 at the moment (used to, not anymore), but all the feedback seems pretty positive thus far, which is good to hear. It's best to view this game as a Parodius-style spinoff than a legitimate sequel/reboot anyway. I was pretty cautious about it and for good reasons. I'm just hoping t...

Re: Double Dragon 2 Remake?

I know this isn't a very responsible thing to do without a review.. but seriously.. Actually, the only way to be irresponsible is to not be truthful. If that's how you feel about the game, it's certainly responsible to tell us. By the way, feel like writing a full review? Well I meant "irrespo...

Re: Double Dragon IV (from Arc System Works)

Yeah, I had a similar reaction. It looks more like a rom hack than a true Double Dragon 4. I'm not against 8-bit style graphics, but I didn't expect them to simply re-use Double Dragon II NES sprites. I still want the game though. Also, PS4 and Steam? Where's my Nintendo version? Anyway, I posted th...
