Re: Sequels To Renegade..or River City Ransom?
This has all been brought up in the past one way or another but I like the way you tell it. First of all, Shin Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun - Kunio Tachi No Banka is awesome and should be played by all. ESPECIALLY the fan translation (if you can find it...). Target; Renegade and Renegade III both origi...

Re: Double Dragon for Zeebo (new game released in Brazil)
seeing as ur new, i wouldn't bump into old topics like this since it opens up dead discussions, just a regular rule for forums Well I for one just found out about this, and it's interesting to see that Million produced a new game. I notice, like DDA and DDEx(mobile phone), there's this stylish new ...

Was the 2008 DD2 Remake Ever Released?
I was blown away when I saw this: m Basically it appears to be a 16-bit looking remake of the NES DD2. I love the arcade version(tho dont care for the pc-duo remake), yet always also loved the very nice looking and epic NES DD2. So alas, I was quite taken to see a company had made a 16-bit facelift ...

Re: Sequels To Renegade..or River City Ransom?
Er, where to begin... Cassette based games lasted so long because they were just cheaper than the alternatives. Plus it helped costs given that there were some many formats back then. Target; Renegade is official in the sense of Ocean had the rights to make their own sequel. I'm guessing Taito of A...

Re: Was the 2008 DD2 Remake Ever Released?
I've never heard of that before. Thanks for posting it. It doesn't look 16-bit to me though. That link you gave had images that looked identical to the NES game, like a straight-up port rather than a remake. I just meant shots like this look kind of SNES-y http://www.projectnext.eu/mobile-game/Doub...

Re: Double Dragon Remake Coming to iPhone and iPod Touch
Rockman: Thanks so much! Been waiting to see these data cards, had no idea there were so many characters! Noticeably absent are DD series regulars Roper, Jeff and Steve...but it seems there's a lot of characters similar to them. 25 playable characters, very cool. However, if we include non playable:...

Re: Double Dragon Remake Coming to iPhone and iPod Touch
Yeah it seems like a lot of duplicate movelists, but just the fact that they included so many unlockable characters it makes up for it. Ha, I didn't know Green Abobo had an official name(least in DDA) My friend brought over his ipad 2 with the Fling analog joystick attachment. Holy crap, I cannot em...

Re: Double Dragon Remake Coming to iPhone and iPod Touch
Going over pix, I noticed shout outs to Technos Japan and Taito(I can't help but think "Technos Japan" whenever I think Double Dragon) on the boxes. Not sure what the other words or acronyms mean. Since I was a kid in the 80's, I always noticed hidden stuff like that in games(like "NA...

Re: Double Dragon Remake Coming to iPhone and iPod Touch
You talking DD3 NES or Arcade? Good to see a fan of DD3, I usually just see hate on that particular entry. I played through DD3 arcade for the first time since the early 1990's, and I really just can't get into it. Though I will say the first look does have a cool look to it, as much as its just a g...

Re: Double Dragon Cameos in- Wreck-It Ralph?
Sadly the cameos felt pretty sparse, but I did happen to catch an Altered Beast cameo. Not sure why Altered Beast, but hey I'll take it.
I felt a lot of opportunity was wasted, but there was some moments of the film I liked.
