Re: What would like to see in a new Double Dragon game?
It’s hard to say. I see some things that are similar, but I see some big differences as well. Their builds are the same and the color scheme somewhat. But they don’t look too much alike. It seems like they took bits and pieces from the game, but redesigned them as well. Like I said, Blaster seems to...

Re: What would like to see in a new Double Dragon game?
Now, while I do agree that I don’t like it stopping at Double Dragon One, I feel it’s a necessity in order to make a complete series. Don’t consider this just another remake. Think about this as a remake/overhaul for the next generation systems. This shouldn’t be a Double Dragon where you just walk ...

Re: Your ideal Double Dragon Sequel
I guess it depends on what everyone is capable of doing to develop it. I mean there has to be a lot of discussion about it. Still I would love to hear more ideas from everyone. As far as making a game we can all agree on, we will have to cover everything from sprites, story, seeing if we could incor...

Re: Another DD fangame
Exactly. I think had it been called anything else it would have been considered a better game. It would be like a amazing musician who is know for coming out with great CDs coming out with only a good one. Sure if another person made it it would have been great, but because it was that particular mu...

Re: And The Ultimate Double Dragon Ripoff Award Goes To...
Yes, but to be fair, immitation is the sincerest form of flattery. There were a tital wave of double dragon immitators in the late 80's and early 90's, and many of them were great games themselves, better than most of the crap out today. Of course, no immitator can ever be better than the real thin...

Overall this looks promising. It makes me want to write my own Double Dragon story.

Re: Double Dragon Renegade short film project
True, Double Dragon wasn't the worst of the translations from video game to movie. Actually, it was probably better than a few of them. Some people consider Double Impact the real Double Dragon movie in a way. I could see why they came to that conclusion. Street Fighter was pretty bad. Mortal Kombat...
