Re: River City Ransom: Underground

Jetstrange, When you say "us" in reference to this project, are you implying that you are directly involved in the development of this game?

Re: Double Dragon '87

Open BOR has definitely come a very long way recently. It can very closely mimic more complicated beat em up game play, like that of the Technos beat em ups. My only gripe is that the engine still can't handle more complicated platforming elements like ladders or stairs very well, if at all. I know ...

Re: Legend of the Double Dragon

Hi Mr.Q, sorry that I've disappeared for so long. The project that I have been working on has kept me painfully busy. On top of that, I've been working multiple jobs when I'm not working on my project. I had been a bit overwhelmed with all of those things going on, and just couldn't find any more ti...

Re: Who Here Remembers the 1988 Arcade Game "Rad Punx"?

Just found the youtube video. Looks interesting- did this actually exist in 1988? Yes, it really did exist! It was a rare exclusive port on the Atari Amstrad upgrade for the Bulgarian version of the Famicom. Every once in a blue moon, floppies of this will show up on ebay, pullling in sick, SICK pr...

Re: Target; Renegade - iPhone

Nice! It's great to see the sprite animations that you have been working on all this time get put to use. The modified ZX Spectrum sprites have way more character than the rendered models used before.

Also, I've got to say that the blood pools are a nice touch. :)

Re: Double Dragon Neon

Swainy, don't get me wrong. The iphone Double Dragon was nothing special. It was a a DDA rip off with uninspired levels, bad controls, new enemys that didn't fit at all, but with a decent art direction. Overall it was rather "eh...". But compared to Neon, oh my god, DDi looks like Castleva...

Re: Double Dragon Neon

Again, not being on iPhone already makes this game better than Double Dragon iPhone. Dan, I am going to have to very...very, very veryveryvery, strongly disagree with you. Clunky controls or not, DDi at least paid respect to the classic franchise we all know and love. And, as Rockman has demonstrat...
