Re: Double Dragon IV (from Arc System Works)

Yeah, I had a similar reaction. It looks more like a rom hack than a true Double Dragon 4. I'm not against 8-bit style graphics, but I didn't expect them to simply re-use Double Dragon II NES sprites. I still want the game though. Also, PS4 and Steam? Where's my Nintendo version? Anyway, I posted th...

Re: Double Dragon 3 (NES) Super Cyclone Spin Kick

I've got it listed on the Moves page for our DD3 review. I'm not sure if I mentioned it in my guide.

Re: Double Dragon series documentary on youtube

The AVGN review has always made laugh. Interestingly, he doesn't hate Simon's Quest. He said he just picked on the game for fun. But I think he honestly hates DD III. Maybe- but to be fair, he had a disclaimer in the DD3 review stating that DD1 and DD2 are sacred and no one could ever say anything ...

Re: Double Dragon series documentary on youtube

Man, I love Double Dragon III. I have ever since I was a kid. I loved it more than Double Dragon II. Just everything about it. The cyclone kick, the extra fighters, the music... everything. Not joking. Honestly, the game is so much more manageable if you use a turbo pad, especially the NES Max. I sw...

Re: Double Dragon 2 Remake?

I know this isn't a very responsible thing to do without a review.. but seriously.. Actually, the only way to be irresponsible is to not be truthful. If that's how you feel about the game, it's certainly responsible to tell us. By the way, feel like writing a full review? Well I meant "irrespo...

Re: Double Dragon Neon

I don't have a PS3 at the moment (used to, not anymore), but all the feedback seems pretty positive thus far, which is good to hear. It's best to view this game as a Parodius-style spinoff than a legitimate sequel/reboot anyway. I was pretty cautious about it and for good reasons. I'm just hoping t...

Hmmm, speaking of which, isn't it releasing soon?

Oh, and which one of you guys wants to review this? Johnny? Steve? Cloudmann?

Re: Tracking Renegade - Renegade 2 remake for iPhone

The more I'm seeing graphics like this the more I'm liking pixel art. Nintendo Power is supposed to have a feature on the new 3DS Castlevania (it ties into the Lords of Shadow storyline apparently... VOMIT), but as I understand it, the game might have polgyonal characters. I'll have to wait and see ...
