Re: Double Dragon Forever is over (bad news)

Btw, was there an Arkanoid Sequel after the SNES one in 1998? I have the 2008 ds Arkanoid, which seems to have gone in a whole new direction with the theme. I was thinking of Arkanoid Returns on the PS1 and the more recent XBox Live game (is this the same one as the DS?). Both excellent either way....

Re: Best DD Remixes You've Heard?

Is it just limited to the title song? If not my favorite has to be snapdragon based on the song in Duke's Lair! SnapDragon no.5- m I loved it so much me and my friends made a fight scene using it as the main theme lol (yes the "Rock" in the video is me ) Rock vs Rai 2- m Ooh man, that is ...

Re: Double Dragon Forever is over (bad news)

The Mercs remake / sequel was in fact Commando 3, the third in that series of course and did indeed come out a year or two ago. I have the game on my XBox and it was okay. It never quite went all the way with the craziness on screen. Stick to the original games, they're classics. I think the 1942 u...

Best DD Remixes You've Heard?

I've heard a lot of rock/metal covers of classic NES games, and even a few arcade and Genesis games. Though, I was wondering what some of the best remixes of Double Dragon(of any of the series) you've come across? Some trance/techno/dj remixes/rearrangements I've found: arcade theme done in a trance...

Re: Article for the 10th Year Anniversary of the Dojo!

Sooo loving this! m Thanks for putting this up. This is certainly a fun read, and I LOVE how you guys peppered it with some of the Japanese NES character artwork. When I first saw that style in the may 1988 Nintendo Fun Club issue, I immediately loved it. I believe the side scrolling Tiger game from...

Re: Double Dragon Forever is over (bad news)

In a crazy way, maybe this Brizo would be easier to work with than a monolithic juggernaut like Capcom or Sega? There MUST be some people who work at serious indie developers with publishing clout that are DD fans, and could propose something. Imagine how fun it'd be to work on the first new DD seq...

Re: Double Dragon Zeebo!

I haven't played DDA since 2003; for some reason there was something about it that bugged me...it couldn't have been what I perceived to be muddier almost muted colors and graphics. But I liked how it was essentially a "remixed" game made a bit longer. Unlike DD1 and DD2, it wasn't one lon...

Re: Double Dragon Zeebo!

To be honest, at the moment, most of my complaints stem from things that you were able to do in Double Dragon advance that you can't do here. But mostly it comes from moves or combos/juggles working a certain way and not from the actual programming being bad so I don't really think they're too vali...

Re: Double Dragon Zeebo!

Well unfortunately there is NO place to see any of the new characters names! Since the game's are download only they dont come with manuals and the small "how to play" that they have in the game just explains the games mechanics (and even then they're in Portuguese lol) . So no luck there...
