Double Dragon NES moves list

 

Billy Lee

Punch The standard punch in done by pressing A.  This move doesn't require any hearts.  A weak attack.
Kick The standard kick is done by pressing B.  This move doesn't require any hearts.  A good attack.
Uppercut The uppercut is automatically performed at the end of a sequence of punches and it will knock an opponent down.  It requires two hearts.  A good attack.
Head Butt The head butt is performed by tapping the control pad twice left or right.  It requires no hearts.  Knocks opponent down with one hit.  This move is generally useless since you're likely to take damage while trying to perform it.  A weak attack.
Low Kick The low kick is automatically performed at the end of a sequence of kicks to knock an opponent down.  It is replaced by the spin kick later on.  It requires two hearts.  A good attack.
Jump Kick The jump kick is performed by pressing A and B at the same time.  It requires three hearts.  Week damage, but an effective attack.
Hair Grab The hair grab is performed by kicking while keeping a maximum amount of distance from your opponent.  The game automatically grabs the opponent's hair.  Requires four hearts.  Very good attack.  Does not work on Abobo or Jimmy Lee.
Hair-Pull Kick While in the hair grab, press B to knee your opponent in the face up to five times.  Requires four hearts.  Very good damage.
Over-Shoulder Throw While in the hair grab, press A to throw your opponent.  It is best used after a few knee smashes.  Requires four hearts.  Excellent damage.
Pin Attack While an opponent is lying on the ground, stand above him/her and press down on the control pad to sit.  Press A to punch.  Requires five hearts.  Very good damage.  Does not work on Abobo or Jimmy Lee.
Elbow Punch While an opponent is behind you, press A to automatically elbow.  Requires six hearts.  Excellent damage.
Spin Kick The spin kick is automatically performed at the end of a sequence of kicks, and it will automatically be executed when kicking close to an opponent.  It replaces the spin kick.  Requires seven hearts.  Excellent damage.
